Yasuyoshi Fujishima / yasuka ( @ya.24 )

Nature, life, and the movement of the heart──
Yasuyoshi Fujishima captures the small scenes she encounters in her daily life and on her travels. (@ya.24).
The work, exuding quiet resonance and deep emotion, gently resonates in the hearts of those who see it.

He is currently based in Oita Prefecture and works as a freelance photographer.
He is involved in a wide range of activities, including photography for local government and regional promotions and corporate promotions, as well as writing travel articles and holding photo exhibitions.

We asked Fujishima about his thoughts on taking photos and his favorite cameras and filters.

Q. What camera and lens are you currently using?

When shooting with filters, I use the FUJIFILM GFX50S II in combination with the Fujinon lens GF80mmF1.7 R WR .
Other cameras I use include the FUJIFILM X-T5 and the film camera Nikon FM10 . Lenses I use include the XF35mmF1.4 R , MINOLTA MC Rokkor PF 58/1.4 , and AI Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 .

I would like to use a film camera as much as possible, but due to the rising prices of film, I have recently started using digital cameras to capture many of the small moments of everyday life.
I am researching every day to be able to reproduce the touches created using film and lens filters digitally.

Q. What does “photography time” mean to you?

An irreplaceable time to face yourself.

Q. Please tell us about a moment recently when you thought, "I'm glad I took a photo."

The natural changes from the day my grandmother died until her cremation (starry sky, autumn leaves, rainbow, etc.)
Every time I look at it I can remember that day and everything that happened up until that point.

3dt: What is your favorite product and why?

OPF 550-L.
I bought this filter as the first one after looking at the sample photos. I like that I can create two different expressions with one lens just by carrying a light filter. I like how the light bleeds beautifully and creates a soft atmosphere in the photos.

Q. What did you keep in mind when shooting?

When I use filters, I try to shoot when the sunlight is as low as possible. I also use them on cloudy days and indoors in low light, and try to think outside the box and use them as an experiment.

Q. What changes did you notice in the scenery seen through the filter?

It feels like the blurred light has a lingering effect, adding body and depth to the photograph.

Q. If you have any recommended locations for shooting or favorite times of day, please let us know.

Kuju Plateau in Oita Prefecture. Mornings are recommended.
Also, in the coming season, I would like to take the filter with me to festivals and other evening events.
