Clear Streak

Clear Streak is a streak filter that responds to visible light sources, spreading their light horizontally within the frame.

With large light sources such as sunlight or backlight, a soft horizontal veil of light appears, gently enhancing the overall atmosphere and lingering mood of the image.
When used with small, intense point light sources at night, a single horizontal streak emerges, its character shifting with the size of the light source.

Rather than completely suppressing reflections on the glass surface, the balance of reflection and coating is carefully tuned so that light circulates naturally and comfortably throughout the frame.
Reflections are controlled as usable light, without becoming chaotic.

As a PLUS filter within the Layer-X system, Clear Streak can be layered only when needed, allowing you to adjust the spread and impression of light without disrupting the underlying image.

Layer-X PLUS Filter

The Layer-X PLUS Filter is an optical filter that attaches magnetically to the front of the Layer-X BASE, adding optical effects to your images.
Cross, ND, and CPL filters can be layered easily whenever they are needed, expanding creative possibilities during shooting.

Even when a PLUS Filter is added, the increase in thickness is just 3.4mm.
It can be used with wide-angle lenses equivalent to 24mm without noticeable vignetting at the edges of the frame.
A magnet is also built into the front, allowing multiple PLUS filters to be stacked together for easy storage and transport.

A Layer-X BASE Filter is required to use the Layer-X PLUS Filter.
