A journey to explore the individuality of the islands.
The first destination I flew from Jakarta on Java Island was Bintan Island.
Close to the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, Singapore is just a stone's throw away.
The island is known as a beautiful seaside resort, but the tour also allowed us to visit the daily life of a local town.
BINTAN – Senggarang Village
Sengalang Village is a Chinatown located in the southern part of Bintan Island. A fishing village, it is characterized by houses made of timbers that jut out over the water on the coastline. Anyway, the friendly children and the elderly people's expressions were wonderful, and I took a lot of portraits.

This is a special place where an Instagrammer who lives locally showed us after negotiating with the owner. The place and what is there is a secret until you arrive at the site by chartered bus.
When I got off the bus and saw this gigantic shipwreck with its strange appearance in the setting sun, I couldn't help but swallow my breath.
I was guided just in time for sunset, but most of the tour members kept their cameras pointed at this unique subject until it was completely dark. While muttering “Oh my god!” to each other lol.
